Where does “শৈশৱ” come from?
শৈশৱ (Assamese) comes from Sanskrit शैशव, from Sanskrit शिशु — a child, infant, the young of any animal (as a calf, puppy, etc.); also applied to young plants, and to the recently risen sun.
