Where does “ဢလွင်း” come from?

ဢလွင်း (Shan) comes from Burmese အလောင်း, from Burmese လောင်း, from Proto-Sino-Tibetan m-lawŋ — boat.

ဢလွင်း (Shan): one who is progressing towards a state of enlightenment
