Where does “ọdaju” come from?
ọdaju (Yoruba) comes from Yoruba dájú, from Yoruba ojú, from Yoruba Ọ̀run — the place of origin for all humans where souls (orí) are created, humans return to their individual ọ̀run after death. It does not represent a specific entity or location, every human has their own origin place.
